The Olympic Games broadcast is the biggest television event on the planet.  The opening ceremony alone attracts close to a billion viewers worldwide.  Therefore being invited to work on the NBC coverage of the Olympic Games is considered an honor and a privilege.  The pace can be grueling and the saying is that working on the Olympics is one of the hardest things one will do but also one of the most exhilarating and rewarding.  I have worked on the Vancouver, London, and Sochi Olympic games for NBC.  Here are some samples from the London Olympics.  This was a huge undertaking with an entire team of designers, art directors, animators, end editors working for over a year before the Olympics even started.  This entire project was led by creative directors Dave Barton and John Schleef with me contributing as a design consultant.  We have received an Emmy for this high profile television event.
